Written/knowledge Test

The Written/Knowledge Test is a multiple choice test with 40 questions. In order to pass, participants need a minimum of 32 correct answers out of the 40 questions. Appointments are not required, but participants must be finished with their test by the time our office closes, so be sure to come in with enough time to complete the test. Most people take between 20-40 minutes to complete their test. Our normal office hours can be found here: Our Hours

The Written Test is $30 per attempt. If the first attempt is not passed, another Written Test can be issued during the same day free of charge if a participant wishes to try again. The Knowledge Test can be read out loud to a participate, but must be scheduled and costs $50 as we need to make sure there is an examiner free to read the test. Contact Us.

Please note, students must be 15 1/2 or have completed Driver’s Ed. in order to take the written test per DOL regulations.

Drive Test

The Written Test must be completed BEFORE scheduling the Drive Test. Once the Written Test is passed, the Drive Test may be scheduled by contacting the office. Including paperwork, the Drive Test takes approximately 30 minutes. Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment.
